Fixing Internet Explorer browser security error:
First save the below certificate on your computer and rename the last extension ".txt" to ".cer" without the quotes. To download this file you MUST right click and go to "Save Target As".
Download the certificate here.
Go to internet explorer, tools, internet options, content, certificates, trusted root certification authorities then import the certificate.

Click on "Add Exception.
Click on "Confirm Security Exception".

For now on you can access your control panel like this: yourdomainname.com/cpanel in either browser and not receive a security error.

Simply bypass the security error message you get from your browser, your still secure, we just can't bind an SSL certificate to an IP number.

Now you can login to your client area and place orders, upgrade your hosting package, open support, sales and billing tickets, change your personal details (including updating your credit card), check and pay invoices, login to your cpanel control panel, lookup our extensive video knowledgebase and much more.

 

WEBMAIL:
Webmail should be used primarily if your on vacation or not at your primary computer. You can access your webmail initially here: https://ns1.compuwebhosting.com:2096/login/. The username is the FULL email address and the password is whatever you chose while creating the email account. Install the above security certificate if your using internet explorer for the control panel or follow the solution if your using firefox.

For now on you can access your webmail like this: yourdomainname.com/webmail in either browser and not receive a security error.

If all else fails trying to login to your webmail please use the link below. The username is the FULL email address and the password is the one you created when you setup the email address in your control panel.

Here you can submit a support ticket to our technicians for assistance. Most support tickets are answered within the hour. Please give us up to 12 hours until resorting to our emergency email contact below.

In the event that you cannot see your website(s) online you probably tried to login to your control panel, ftp, email or webmail too many times with the wrong login information and our firewall security system has automatically blocked you to avoid unwanted guests gaining entry into your account. Simply open up a support ticket and let us know the problem and we can resolve it immediately. Please be advised only you are the one that cannot see your website(s), everyone else can.

We have setup an offsite emergency email account with gmail in the rare event that our own email server is encountering problems. If you do not get a response to a support ticket within 12 hours please send an email to webhostcontact at gmail dot com and give us your full name, domain name and problem and we will resolve it immediately.
